[EXE] The Skies of Axia - Act I [V0-0-06] Update

There were a few file transfers, and file organizations that I had to do so some assets like the sounds got unlinked. However, I did add in the second half of the first act (text and choices). I am still missing the battle scene as that currently is puzzling me on how I should go about that.
Here are some ideas I have on how I should approach it.

Option A:
Keep it Simple Stupid... You load up, you have a little animatic, and based on the items you have collected and the character you have selected I will do some magic and output a random end scenario.
Pro: Easy to do
Con: No player choice or direct input during the fight might be frustrating to complete.

Option B:
I do a specific line of Succeed/Fail triva questions that will determine if you defeat the foes or not. This may be a list of randomly selected questions that you must answer.
"What does the Rouges Spinal Tap do?"
A: [Melee Weapon Damage]. If Hit Foe is OFF-GUARD, it is knocked PRONE.
B: [Melee Weapon Damage]. Knocked PRONE.
Or
"Is the Rouges Spinal Tap a General/Exploit?"
A: True
B: False

Option C:
I create "Pokemon" battle mechanics, and include a health bar for the Heroes and the Foes. You will select your attack based on the hero you selected based on their character sheets. The battle will continue until either the foe or hero falls, leading to the Success/Loss screen. (Movement mechanics will most likely be completely removed)
The operation would look something like this:
1 Foe HP bar Load on screen. (I could also treat them as 1 foe to simplify (aiming for the Veteran Houndmaster))
1 Hero HP Bar (This would be more of a representation of your selected hero.)

Stage 1:
Select:

  • Fight
    • Select 1 of the 6 Attack Options
  • TideTurner
    • Select 1 of the 2 Tideturners Options
  • Dodge
    • Advantage on willpower/dodge saves
  • Item
    • Select 1 of the Items in your inventory to give you a boost

Stage 2:

  • The Foes will rebuttal with their attack.
  • 1-6 Randomizer and 1 Foe will attack.

Repeat

Option D: I create "Pokemon" battle mechanics, and include a health bar for the Heroes and the Foes. You will select your attack based on the hero you selected based on their character sheets. The battle will continue until either the foe or hero falls, leading to the Success/Loss screen. (Movement mechanics will most likely be completely removed) The operation would look something like this:

3 Grunt Foe HP bar Load on screen.

1 Awakened Foe HP bar Load on screen.

4 Hero HP Bar (This would be more of a representation of All 4 Heroes combined.)

 Stage 1: Select your Hero:

  • Rath
  • Rook
  • Laureate
  • Piper

Stage 2: Select:

  • Fight
    • Select 1 of the 6 Attack Options
  • TideTurner
    • Select 1 of the 2 Tideturners Options
  • Dodge
    • Advantage on willpower/dodge saves
  • Item
    • Select 1 of the Items in your inventory to give you a boost

Stage 3:

  • 1 of the 4 Foes will rebuttal with their attack. (this will alternate through the foes, Hero - Foe - Hero - Foe - etc.)
  • 1-6 Randomizer and 1 Foe will attack.

Repeat

Option E:

I hate myself and I reprogram an AI system based on Emberwinds mechanics from the ground up and build a modular fight scene that allows the foes to move around on a grid and also the player... (This idea hurts my soul) But would be the most accurate to Emberwind.

Each Foe Sprite will have an AI system that will determine where they move on the board.
Heros will use trigger locations to move the Hero Sprite to those locations.
Will Ray Traced lines to determine distance from foe.
Something more like that. (Guys I'm using crude drag and drop coding... :( )
